Cochrane Tourism will endeavour to promote Cochrane through the encouragement and facilitation of events, promotions and campaigns to raise the awareness of Cochrane as an outstanding, innovative and exciting visitor destination. The Historic Cochrane Ranche Site

The Historic Cochrane Ranche Site, the location of Alberta's first large scale livestock operation in 1881, is accessible year-round. It is a 136 acre public park with picnic tables, two fire pits, and an outdoor stage. The Historic Westerson Cabin is located in the Cochrane Ranche Historic Site at the junction of Hwy 1A and Hwy 22 and is the site of a variety of free cultural and heritage demonstrations occurring on Saturday mornings (late May to August) during the Farmers Market. 

Downtown Visitor Information Centre

The Historic Downtown Cochrane Visitor Information Centre is located at 209-2nd Avenue West.  It is open from the May long weekend to Labour Day, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday and 10:00 am - 8:00 pm Saturday and Sunday.  Tourism information, public washrooms, and Cochrane souvenirs are available here.
