Visitor Information Centre

Located in the Cochrane Ranche Historic Site at the junction of Hwy 1A and Hwy 22.

The Visitor Information Centre is open daily during the summer from mid-May to Labour Day, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Guided tours, educational interpretive programs and special events are available at the Ranche. The Cochrane Ranche Historic Site, the location of Alberta's first large scale livestock operation in 1881, is accessible year-round.  It is a 136 acre public park with picnic tables, two fire pits, and an outdoor stage.
