August 23, 2014: The Sears Great Canadian Run will pass through Cochrane between 8:00 and 8:30 am. Check back for more details on the Cochrane stop. The Run is a long distance running relay in which teams of up to 20 people and individual runners will embark on an epic 100-kilometre journey. All funds raised from The Sears Great Canadian Run will be donated to The Sears Canada Charitable Foundation, which supports the Children╩╝s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa and the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta, as well as national pediatric oncology research. September 6, 2014: Join us for Mutt Strut 2014 at Mitford Park in Cochrane on September 6th! Our new route is a beautiful 5km walk along the north ridge overlooking the Bow River. Along the walk you will find refreshments and prizes! Smaller dogs or little ones joining you? No problem! We have a shorter 1km route this year too.
